Dr. Maria Levada is a graduate of NYU and SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. She is a Board Certified OBGYN and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the Nassau County Medical Society.
With a mission to greatly enhance personal health, prevent illness and improve everyone’s quality of life, Dr. Levada has been a leader in the medical community since the beginning of her extensive career. During the past 35 years, she founded, and maintains, an active clinical practice devoted to women’s health care. A gifted surgeon who combines the art of medicine with the science of the most advanced technology to achieve the finest outcomes, Dr. Levada was voted one of America’s Top Gynecologists and one of the World’s Leading Physicians.
For the past 15 years, her specialization has focused on Natural Bioidentical Hormone Therapy for Men and Women, and she is the founder of, and Medical Director for, the International Hormone Institute. With its in-house Natural Hormone Pharmacy in Westchester, NY, Dr. Levada researched the benefits and risks of synthetic versus natural hormones and developed therapeutic dosages for compounded Bioidentical Hormone extracts. Her innovative, creative mind perfected the integration of the latest technologies in Anti-Aging (lasers, injectables, and skin care) with the most effective nutrition and weight loss methods to greatly improve her patient’s overall health and well-being.
